Where do these rates stand in comparison with mortgage rates elsewhere? Current mortgage rates for Alaska are lower than the national weekly average of 4.19%. Nebraska’s weekly rate of 5.25% was the highest of any state, while the 3.86% found in Arkansas was the lowest of any state nationally.
